Who We Help

Support

The charitable purpose of Urban Bible Outreach is to support local organizations with Bibles to conduct Bible studies, outreach, and general spiritual support. We reach out to organizations in the city of Dallas and surrounding cities that assist the poor, homeless, addicted, abused, physically needy and spiritually seeking in our community.

Types of organizations we support include but are not limited to:

  • Homeless shelters for men, women, and children in downtown Dallas that offer Bible studies as part of their program
  • Faith-based organizations that offer transitional housing for homeless families
  • Local food pantries in Dallas and the surrounding cities
  • Homeless shelters for men that provide basic tools to help facilitate their reintegration back into society
  • Shelters for women and children escaping from domestic violence
  • Crisis pregnancy centers that offer complimentary consultations, ultrasounds, and pregnancy tests
  • Emergency shelters offering transitional residential services to children and young adults who are in need due to abuse, neglect or homelessness
  • Homeless ministries that teaches Bible studies, life skills, and 12-step addiction recovery classes

These are just a few of the many charitable and religious organizations that have been asking Urban Bible Outreach for Bibles. If you would like Urban Bible Outreach to partner with you to meet the spiritual needs in your organization, please contact us!

  • Interfaith Housing Coalition

Interfaith Housing Coalition (IHC) is a faith-based agency whose mission is to “be the hands of Christ helping families transition to self-sufficiency and new hope.” Consequently, our goal is to do more than provide the transitional housing that helps homeless families temporarily survive. We also provide the holistic services that empower them and their children to thrive.

  • Metro Relief

Metro Relief is a ministry supporting local and mobile relief to the poor.

  • River of Life Homes

A Texas-based not-for-profit charity dedicated to providing shelter and assistance to women and children escaping from domestic violence.

  • Soul’s Harbor

  • Union Gospel Mission

We are on a mission to see lives changed. Since 1949, homeless and hungry people have come to the Union Gospel Mission “tore up, busted and disgusted,” to quote one of our clients. With your help, we offer them a chance to put their lives back together, anchored by a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • Victim Relief Ministries

The mission of Victim Relief is to mobilize the faith community to partner with law enforcement agencies, victim service organizations and homeland security to deliver appropriate physical, emotional, and spiritual support to victims of crime, disaster and terrorism.

  • Youth for Christ – Campus Life

YFC reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other likeminded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the Word of God and prayer, passion for sharing the love of Christ and commitment to social involvement.
