Statement of Faith

What We Believe

  • We believe the Bible to be the inerrant, supernaturally inspired, and powerful Word of God. We believe God’s Word to be the single most important book to ever be written and through God’s revealed Word we find the truth, grace and love of our Savior Jesus Christ. We see His heart and His desire for the lost of this world to find an everlasting and redemptive relationship with Jesus Christ. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21; Hebrews 4:12)
  • We believe in the Trinity, one God existing as three Persons—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
  • We believe that God created man in His image and that sin entered the world through mankind due to the temptation of Satan, who is always “seeking to devour.” (1 Peter 5:8)
  • We believe that Jesus was God, was born of a virgin, led a life without sin, suffered on a cross on Golgotha, resurrected on the 3rd day and ascended to heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father. (Acts 2:33)
  • We believe that, because of Jesus’ sacrificial and atoning death on the cross, that “through faith—not by works,” we can be redeemed by His blood and only by His blood. Because of God’s grace, salvation is offered to those who believe and surrender their lives to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. (Galatians 2:8-9)
  • We believe the Holy Spirit is given to all believers to indwell us and to be our Helper, to “teach you all things and will remind you of everything” that Jesus has said. (John 14:26)
  • We believe that Jesus is coming back soon to resurrect the saved and the lost, either into God’s eternal presence (the saved) or into eternal separation from God (the lost). (John 3:16)
  • We believe that all Christ-followers are a part of the “body of Christ” and, together, we are to “go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” (1 Corinthians 12:27; Mark 16:15)
